With eProvenance, wine and spirits producers can now offer you that assurance.  Each bottle can be authenticated, and the storage temperature of every case can be tracked and monitored, from the producer to the consumer.  eProvenance has brought together the technology and the team to measure and verify Provenance for the first time in history. Equally important, we have brought a deep passion for and knowledge about fine wines and spirits.

Our "Intelligent Bottle" alleviates the threat of counterfeit while our system monitors and logs ambient temperatures in each case, thus assuring the producer, importer, retailer and consumer that proper storage conditions have been maintained everywhere along the bottle's journey from the producer to the consumer.

How do we do this?

The eProvenance system uses several advanced technologies, including RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and multiple points of measurement coordinated by a high-speed password-protected, Internet database.

• ELECTRONIC TEMPERATURE MONITORING:

  In the eProvenance system, a temperature-monitoring Case Sensor is attached to each case of wine. The eProvenance Case Sensor is an active RFID Sensor with the capacity to measure the temperature three times a day and store the information in memory for future review and interpretation.

• TRACEABILITY OF EACH BOTTLE:

  Each bottle in the eProvenance system has a passive RFID Tag, which uniquely identifies each bottle in our high-speed, password-protected internet database. This Bottle Tag is discreetly mounted in the bottom well of the bottle. The Bottle Tag allows each bottle to be traced from the vat in the winery to the cellar of the consumer. This facilitates shipment confirmation and inventory management, and enhances the future value of the consumer's cellar by verifying Provenance.
